Dadbod resides in the suburbs of Chittenden County, making music and writing the occasional original tune in his basement laboratory of sound.  Dadbod celebrates and contemplates middle age, home ownership, and an ever-increasing pants size with songs about mowing the lawn, the backyard garden, and the requisite Dylan cover.

The Musical Mayor and his Deputy of Mischief perform together regularly and are not shy about it. From rocking covers to tear-jerker folk classics, this dynamic duo will not disappoint. Catch them later on downtown at Charlie-Os after the porches have closed up shop!

Grace Palmer is a singer/songwriter sparking interest up and down the East Coast, with poignant lyrics about the climate crisis and modern times, and catchy melodies. After opening Rosanne Cash, Billy Raffoul, and Grace Potter in the last year, Palmer's music is catching like wildfire. Her family-friendly style and hopeful outlook on the world leaves folks asking, 'when's the next show?!' Burlington based for the past 6 years, Grace has been working on her professional debut album, 'Made of This Earth', to be released Spring 2027.

Central Vermont’s Fair Sparrow is Patti Casey, Ally Tarwater, and Susannah Blachly. Casey is a multi award-winning singer/songwriter, instrumentalist, and founding member of the Bluegrass Gospel Project, and Woods Tea Company. Tarwater is a versatile musician, music educator, and songwriter, who plays flute, ukulele, sings, and finds joy in all aspects of life. And, Blachly is a highly-regarded fiddler, tunesmith, and singer/songwriter who has performed with many bands, and produced 4 original albums, 2 of which were ranked in the 10 Best Albums of the Year by Seven Days. 

It's a family affair at 33 Hubbard Street where 12-year-old twins play fiddle and trumpet, mom trails along on guitar. They'll be playing traditional, folk, and a few jazz standards. 

Playing banjo and guitar, brothers Greg & Doug Hayes are joined by local fiddler Jake Marren, playing a mix of pieces from the old time and roots catologue.

Jason Baker is a Song Smith and Folk Singer from Vermont performing topical, original, folk-roots songs with a modern lyrical viewpoint, mixed with traditional folk, on guitar, banjo, ukulele & harmonica.

Wherever you find him, get ready for a joyful journey of song. Jim’s musical, Halfway There, premiered to rave reviews at the Barre Opera House in May 2022.

Husband wife duo Joey and Andy of Slaphappy Jack, a high energy band playing fun, funky, and weird versions of familiar songs. The lean toward blues, rock, country, and swing, but play across ALL genres. It's always a good time when Slaphappy Jack plays!

Johnny Mountainside travels the world with his trusty sidekick, Sweet Pea McGhee, bringing music and lyrics to front porches everywhere.

A long-time Montpelier resident, Julia came out of guitar retirement for Porchfest and will play a short set of folky rock covers, and as many Indigo Girls songs as she can get away with! 

The Lately Brothers play hillbilly covers and originals: old timey, bluegrass, country, and soul.

Many Waters is a local ten-person choir that performs an eclectic blend of a cappella compositions.

The Spring Chickens, featuring Jenny Monfore and Chris Hollis, bring the vibrant sounds of old-time music to life. Jenny has performed across the country and gathered a wide range of musical styles that have settled into her own unique sound. Chris has performed in several local old time and cajun bands. Together this duo offers a dynamic and fun musical experience with fiddle, guitar and banjo.

I will be dusting off my guitar to play a variety of some favorite songs that fall in the genres between indie rock and folk…and perhaps a few original compositions.

Three or four old guys, and maybe some guest vocalists, will have fun playing a variety of tunes.
